Kristen Southworth and Valerie Martin show off their heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini and other fresh vegetables at the CWE FLEA on North Euclid just north of Herbie’s in the Central West End.

They also raise free range hens (and a very busy rooster), offering quality eggs along with their vegetables, herbs and flowers that are grown using only organic fertilizers on a farm in Shiloh Hills, IL, about 75 miles Southeast of St. Louis.

The CWE FLEA continues for two more Saturdays in October (Oct 5 and 19), 9a to 2p.

CWE FLea final

The second CWE Flea will take place at 449 N. Euclid at Washington tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thirteen vendors will be at this charming open air market with a variety of items for sale. From produce to pastries, vintage to designer clothing, antiques, children's clothing made from upcycled fabrics, handmade face & body products, jewelry, handmade purses, olive oil, pastas, jams, terrariums and more.

Hope to see you there! We'll be back October 5 and 19th! If the CWE Flea is a success this fall (and it certainly looks like it is) we'll start up again in the Spring!
