The Rams were handed their third straight loss by the San Francisco 49ers, winning 35-11 on Thursday night at the Edward Jones Dome. Greg Zuerlein’s first quarter field goal put the Rams on top 3-0, but the Rams lost that lead and never recovered.
The 49ers got three touchdowns and 219 yards rushing to dominate the Rams. San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick also threw a pair of TD passes.
The Rams would only get one touchdown in the fourth quarter on Sam Bradford’s five yard touchdown pass to Lance Kendricks. Immediately following, Benny Cunningham ran in the two point conversion, but it was way too late to recover from their deficit. The Rams are now 1-3 on the season as Jeff Fischer explains "We have a lot of work to do."
