The Rocky Horror Show is a musical satire of the science fiction B horror films of the late 1940s – 1960s. Written by Richard O’Brien, the show tells the story of a newly engaged couple who become trapped in a storm and arrive at the home of a mad transvestite scientist, Dr. Frank N. Furter, who is in the midst of unveiling his new creation. The couple are seduced by Frank N. Furter and become involved in his twisted plans. The Rocky Horror Show was adapted into a movie in 1975 and that film has the longest-running theatrical release of any film in history.

Director Evan Fifer said, “The cast, crew, and band have worked their tails off to create an original theatrical production that still acknowledges the movie. However, there are some differences (this is a stage show after all). Granted, the story is the same, the songs are the same, and the characters are the same, but if you are expecting to see the film on stage, you are in for a surprise! We’ve created a new take, but one that you will thoroughly enjoy.” The show is assisted directed by Tom Varner and includes musical direction by Ritch Alexander.

Seating is limited. Therefore, patrons are strongly urged to order tickets ahead of time online at hardroad.org. Tickets are $15 each.
