The Places I Go & The Things I See: Creole FoodWritten by Annina Christensen
Mardi Gras came and went, but I'm still trying all the Creole food in town. Last night, we went to the Kitchen Sink, which recently moved to the bottom of the Westmoreland building on Union (next to the Congress and the Senate). I had shrimp and grits and it was delish! A few nights before, I wet my palate and whet my appetite at the Broadway Oyster Bar, which is pictured above. It's on...you guessed it, Broadway, in Downtown St. Louis. I love this place. The architecture is great, the bathrooms especially (the walls are covered in mosaiced mirror pieces), and theres an outdoor patio, which they cover when it's cold, two bars, and a stage! I got a pear salad that night, which was delightful.
