Chris Clark (78)
As a lifelong St. Louisan, Chris is very proud of his place in the St. Louis arts scene. He graduated from St. Louis University High School in 1979 and with honors from Webster University in 1985. Drawing upon his background in film studies, mass media and public-event coordination he has been an integral part in many of the organizational and logistical changes that have led to the growth and expanded artistic direction of the St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF). His dedicated work is evident in the ever-increasing number of annual film-related events produced by Cinema St. Louis (CSL), including the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase, Classic French Film Festival, SLIFF/Kids, the 48 Hour Film Project, and the LGBT film festival called QFest. This is a dream job for Chris and he plans to keep it indefinitely by living forever. So far, so good. He and his partner of nine years, plus two spoiled and feisty dogs live happily in Maplewood, MO. They hope to be married when Missouri catches up to the rest of the world.
