On April 18, the University City Police Department will start its Citizen’s Police Academy courses designed to provide greater insight for University City citizens regarding policing practices and services. The Citizen’s Police Academy will operate to foster better relationships between the University City Community and its law enforcement.
Courses from the Citizen’s Police Academy will be held to educate citizens on laws of arrest, crime scene information, patrol and investigative strategies, and other procedures to enhance understanding of the role and functions of the Police Department.
I know it has been a while since I last posted. Life got a little crazy. Between graduate school, work, and board meetings…I need to revamp my education information sharing to the fabulous OnStL community. So here I go!

Let me begin by saying don’t worry. In 2009, 9.9 percent of St. Louisans were unemployed. It was a tough to find a job back then. There were a lot of people in your position who were out of work. Yet in 2013, only 6.5 percent of St. Louisans were unemployed. So again, don’t worry. There are things you can do to find work.
